Free · Confidential · Always Here to Listen

WholeLine

You don't have to face this alone. WholeLine is a free, confidential helpline staffed by trained volunteers, ready to listen and help you figure out what to do next.

Available

Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm

WholeLine offers free, confidential emotional support and referrals. It is not an emergency medical service. If you or someone else is in immediate physical danger, please contact your local emergency services first.

What WholeLine Offers

More Than Just a Phone Line

👂
Someone to Talk To

A trained volunteer who listens without judgment, whether you need to talk through a bad day or something much harder.

🧭
Referral & Navigation

Help working out what kind of support fits your situation, and where to find it, whether that is WholeMind or elsewhere.

📱
However You Reach Out

Call if you want to talk out loud. Text or WhatsApp if speaking feels like too much right now. Both are answered with the same care.

What Happens Next

Reaching Out, Step by Step

You stay in control of the conversation the whole way through.

1
You reach out
By call, text, or WhatsApp, whenever you need to.
2
A volunteer listens
No script, no rush. You share as much or as little as you want.
3
You decide what's next together
That might mean continuing to talk, a referral, or connecting with WholeMind Telepsychiatry.
4
You can reach out again
WholeLine is here whenever you need it, not just once.
Who Answers

Trained Volunteers

WholeLine is currently staffed by five trained volunteer responders, supported by Dr. Elizabeth Falade, WholeMind's Founder and Lead Psychiatrist. Each volunteer is trained to listen, support, and refer where needed.

What you share with WholeLine is kept private. The only exception is if a volunteer believes someone's life is in immediate danger, in which case getting help to that person comes first.

Not Sure Where to Start?

WholeLine, Telepsychiatry, or Emergency Services

Here is a simple way to think about which one fits right now.

Reach WholeLine

If you need someone to talk to right now, feel overwhelmed, or do not know where to start.

Book Telepsychiatry

If you want an ongoing diagnosis and treatment plan with a psychiatrist, on a schedule that works for you.

Call Emergency Services

If you or someone else is in immediate physical danger right now. This comes before anything else.
