WholeMind Community
A space to learn, share, and belong, alongside others who understand. Peer support, support groups, volunteering, and events, all in one place.
Four Ways to Belong
You do not need a diagnosis or a crisis to join. The community is open to anyone who wants to learn or connect.
Connect with others who understand what you are going through, in a space built for honest conversation.
Smaller, focused groups for specific struggles, such as grief, anxiety, or addiction recovery, as the community grows.
Give your time as a moderator, group facilitator, or event organiser, and help shape how the community runs.
Live conversations and teaching sessions on mental health, hosted as the community grows.
The WholeMind Hub
The WholeMind Hub is where WholeMind Community lives right now. It is a Facebook group for mental health education, peer support, and honest conversation about wellbeing in the African context. The group is still growing, and every new member helps shape what it becomes.
Join the Hub →What We Ask of Everyone
These guidelines keep the Hub a place people can trust.
Keep what is shared inside the group confidential. What happens in the Hub stays in the Hub.
Be respectful, even when you disagree. Everyone is welcome regardless of where they are in their journey.
Peer support is not a replacement for professional care. We will always point you toward WholeLine or Telepsychiatry when needed.
No sharing of other members' personal details outside the group, under any circumstance.
Events & Webinars
We are building a regular calendar of live sessions for the community.
An open session for questions on mental health, psychiatry, and where faith fits in.
An introduction for anyone joining a WholeMind support group for the first time.
A foundational session on recognising distress in yourself and the people around you.
Become a Volunteer
WholeMind Community is run by people who give their time. As we grow, we need more hands.
You Are Welcome Here
Whether you are looking for support, looking to give it, or just curious, there is a place for you in WholeMind Community.
